More Ideas for Welcoming House Guests

One way to do this is to have a welcome banner.  This one has the word Sisters at the beginning and at the end and is above the breakfast table

Here is another banner that is on the bed they will be using in your home.  It has Sisters and their name at the end of it.

Another welcoming idea is to write the word Welcome on a chalkboard with their name too and put it in their room.

If you have a picture of them you can frame it and have it on the bedside stand.  This one is of me and my sister.

A pitcher and glass for water is thoughtful as is a vase of flowers from your garden.

A cozy robe for them to wear says "I want you to stay."

A little gift of something that you know they enjoy such as a book, chocolate, or new toothbrush helps them feel at home in your home. This year our theme was Purses so this little paper purse holds some goodies inside it and a striped sucker on the outside.

You can make the time together be memorable with their first impression that they are welcome in your home.

May I come for a visit at your house? What a wonderful way you have of making guests feel welcome -- charming!

I am sure they both felt loved and very cozy with their warm welcome.
You are so creative and went the extra mile in welcoming them. I love your ideas.
I hope you had a cherished time with your sisters.
We will only be home one day before we head up to Wendy's neck of the woods to bless our new little one.
I am going to stay tuned to see the fun times you enjoyed.

(Happy Birthday!)
I actually have my sister and her twins over this very minute-I didn't get a robe out, but I did make her a basket of stuff in her room-her favorite candy, some bath products, a few People magazines, and some hand lotion...it was a last minute idea, and she did love it....

So tell me did you use scrap book paper or what to make these banners? What did you use for the letters?
